1.Potassium Iodide

• food & feed additives : iodine source for food to counter iodine deficiency
• life science reagents : key component for the in situ formation of potassium triiodide complexes in antiseptic creams. + the treatment of radioactive exposure.
• pigment pecursors : key component in complex inorganic oxide pigments such as bismuth vanadate pigments.
• polymer additives : heat and light stabilizer in engineering polyamides, in conjunction with copper (I) iodide.

• coating additives : key components for inducing polarizing functionality of polymer films in touch screens.

2.POTASSIUM IODATE

• electronic chemicals : used in light polarisation filters; adsorbed into PVA sheets, the resulting conductivity provides polarization capability

• food & feed additives : iodine source for food, with enhanced stability compared to potassium iodide

• used with potassium iodide to generate iodine in situ for the synthesis of iodo-derivatives + impregnation of security papers as an anti-forgery treatment

4.SODIUM METAPERIODATE ( SODIUM PERIODATE )

5.PERIODIC ACID
